Delgir ZakinovaI am a biochemist by training and performed my master’s thesis on the topic “Studying the peroxisomal protein import with the super-resolution microscopy” in the Eggeling Lab, Jena. During my master’s thesis, I was using molecular biology, cell biology and microscopy techniques (dSTORM, SIM, confocal microscopy). Additionally, my work included the image and data analysis. After completing my master’s degree, I started my PhD in physics and biology in March 2025 in the Eggeling Lab. In my research I am mainly focused to further study the peroxisomes and investigate the peroxisomal protein import using super-resolution microscopy methods such as MINFLUX.
