Agnes Koerfer

I started my PhD with Christian Eggeling after finishing my studies in physics in 2019. The main goal of my project is establishing novel MINFLUX super-resolution microscopy for quantitative imaging with environmental sensors like solvatochromic dyes. I am also working on an open-source analysis pipeline for MINFLUX tracking experiments that segments the tracks based on a confocal image. With this experimental procedure, I can differentiate molecules inside or outside of virus budding sites. I use these sensors, as well as fluorescent lipid analogues, to study the dynamic membrane organization during HIV assembly on the plasma membrane of live cells.
