Christina WichmannAs a microbiologist by training and a PhD in chemistry, I am very interested in interdisciplinary research. My main focus is on the effect of different antibacterial molecules to lipid dynamics in bacterial membranes. To understand the mode of action I apply general microbiological as well microscopic methods like fluorescent assays, confocal and super resolution microscopy. I want to understand the changes of the membranes in a time resolved as well as a special resolved manner on living cells.
