Giovanni De AngelisI joined Eggeling Lab in Jena (Germany) after completing my master in physics engineering at Politecnico of Milan in Photonics and Nano optics. My main research project concerns the implementation, development and application of a custom made Interferometric Scattering (iSCAT) microscope in combination with a TIRF channel, enabling dynamic single molecule sensitive measurements as Single Particle Tracking (SPT) and imaging Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy. In addition to iSCAT microscopy, I work with minimal fluorescence photon fluxes (MINFLUX) microscopy to perform SPT on model membrane and live cells.
